What is offered:
60-, 90-, and 120-minute workshops that blend yoga, meditation, sound bathing, and aromatherapy to help participants release tension, reduce stress, reconnect with their bodies, and feel more resilient, present, and at ease in their daily lives.
Using a trauma-informed approach, I combine neuroscience, somatics, mindfulness, and a dash of humor to share practical, evidence-informed tools that support nervous system regulation, physical strength, and mental clarity.
A look inside a workshop:
Whether you're brand new to these practices or have years of experience, you'll find an unpretentious space that champions progress over perfection and celebrates growth at every stage of the journey.
Core practices:
-

Mindfulness Meditation
Mindfulness meditation is an ancient practice in which students place their focus on one thing (typically the breath) to bring them into the present moment and out of the “thought spirals” our brains tend to get stuck in.
MBSR and the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn have brought forth a wealth of scientific, evidence based, research on all the benefits available from maintaining a consistent practice but don’t just take their word for it — come to a workshop to try it out for yourself!

Sound Bathing
There are many types of sound baths out there, but the Befriending The Wild approach is a deeply immersive, full-body experience. We combine aromatherapy with premium vibrational instruments—including crystal singing bowls, handcrafted nickel and silver gongs, and other resonant idiophones—to create what we lovingly call “a massage for the nervous system.”
What to expect? To be enveloped in gentle overlapping layers of sound designed to quiet the mind and stimulate the vagus nerve, supporting the body's natural shift from a stress response into a state of rest, restoration, and recovery.

-

Yoga
For us, yoga is more than a workout—it’s an opportunity to return to yourself. Our practice emphasizes the integrative and unifying benefits of yoga, helping to quiet the mind, restore balance in the body, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence. Each asana (pose) becomes a moving meditation, inviting you to release what no longer serves you and deepen your connection with your breath, body, and inner experience.
Our approach is slow, intentional, and accessible, creating space to release stress, tension, and whatever you may be carrying.
If you’re looking for a fast-paced power flow, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re seeking relief, renewal, and greater physical and mental resilience, you’ll feel right at home here.
